Could you please explain the Data Retention Time for the Free HiveMQ.
Exactly what is retained ?
As for as I know I have not created any persistant sessions on the server, only using the default options for the HiveMQ CLI Client but the server is still showing 5 active sesions even after 3 days+ of inactivity.

The sessions + traffic views here currently display the per-month quota for the cluster.
This means that the maximum number of concurrent existing persistent sessions you had during the current month is displayed in the capacity view.
It is a good point though that this may be confusing, so thank you for this feedback as well.
