For how long does HiveMQ Cloud Free/PayG keep messages for clients formerly connected with cleanSession = false?

How many messages are being kept, i.e. what is the max queue size for those clients?

Hi @usuario,

  • PAYG upgrades the user to 1000 connections/sessions and 100GB max traffic
  • a Free user has a base value of
    • 100 connections
    • 1000 max queue size (which is the HiveMQ default basically)
    • 5MB max payload size
    • max 10MB/s data rate
    • 3 days session and message expiry interval
    • 10GB max traffic
