Esp32 SSL certificate

Hi,
I want to use the ESP32 microcontroller. Where can I obtain certification to connect to MQTT HiveMQ? I previously used the ESP8266 when it was easy, but I am encountering some problems with the ESP32 :frowning: Can you perhaps provide an example or guide on how to manage SSL certificates? I am using Arduino IDE

I found the answer there: Frequently Asked Questions

Hello @Sarunas

I wanted to share with you a basic sample for the ESP32 that I’ve personally used on my device. This sample is designed to provide you with a clear understanding of how to effectively connect and publish a message to HiveMQ Cloud, so you can adapt the code to your needs.

#include <WiFi.h>
#include <PubSubClient.h>
#include <WiFiClientSecure.h>

//---- WiFi settings
const char* ssid = "TYPE_WiFi_SSID";
const char* password = "TYPE_WiFi_PASSWORD";

//---- HiveMQ Cloud Broker settings
const char* mqtt_server = "TYPE_YOUR_HIVEMQ_CLOUD_URL";
const char* mqtt_username = "TYPE_YOUR_USERNAME";
const char* mqtt_password = "TYPE_YOUR_PASSWORD";
const int mqtt_port = 8883;

WiFiClientSecure espClient;
PubSubClient client(espClient);
unsigned long lastMsg = 0;
#define MSG_BUFFER_SIZE (500)
char msg[MSG_BUFFER_SIZE];
int value = 0;

thank you very much. It is very similar to my code :slight_smile: I want use Adafruit_MQTT library, because it support qos 1 :slight_smile:
