Error in log - Serialization of Kafka metrics?

Hi,

I’m getting the below error “Serialization of Kafka metrics”. My HiveMQ broker writes the messages to Kafka through pre-built Kafka extension. Can you specify why is this exception is shown and solution for the same? Does this exception occurs while HiveMQ is pushing data to Kafka extension or does this exception occurs while data is being pushed into HiveMQ ?

@Shaku , this is a known bug, please upgrade your HiveMQ version.
