I installed HiveMQ on linux using the guide on HiveMQ Documentation, it runs when i start the run.sh but not when i use systemctl start hivemq.service, I would like guidence because the LLMs want to change the hivemq.service file and I dont want to end worst than now.
@MarianoB you haven’t provided much to go on here in terms of error messages or other feedback. Did you look at the output from journalctl -u hivemq -f to see if there are error messages?
I did run into a problem where hivemq is writing to the temp directory using one user account when I kick it off with run.sh and when I start it using systemctl its blocked from overwriting those temp files. That caused a crash-loop. Removing the files in the temp directory cleared the issue.
If you can provide more feedback in terms of errors you are seeing, that would be useful to diagnose your particular issue.
