Hi @Daria_H
I want to integrate TimescaleDB with hiveMQ cloud so that I can store that data in my database.
Can we create plugin for the same?
It would we grateful if you can give your suggestions for the same.

Hi @Faraz ,

HiveMQ current version now is 4.12 and since 4.x version it does not support “plug-ins”, it supports “extensions”.

Please refer to [HiveMQ Extension Development :: HiveMQ Documentation](https://www.hivemq.com/docs/hivemq/4.8/extensions/introduction.html) to learn more about custom HiveMQ extensions.

Please refer to an [open-source InfluxDB extension](https://github.com/hivemq/hivemq-influxdb-extension) which could hint you how to implement an extension of your own.

Unfortunately, your use case is still unclear, hence we cannot provide you with a more detailed answer.

I hope it helps
Kind regards,
