# HiveMQ Web Client Will not connect to Cluster

I am getting this error when trying to use my HiveMQ Web Client. ( **Connection Refused**

Unable to connect to the cluster. It may still be starting up, please try again in a few minutes) It has been working fine for a couple months now until today

Thanks for reaching out on our HiveMQ Community Forum.

Is there perhaps firewall rules blocking outgoing traffic to port 8884?  
​Is it possible to test on another computer?

I tried on another computer using my phone hotspot and get the same error
