# HiveMQ Edge: OPC-UA Protocol Adapter - Max Subscriptions

I am testing HiveMQ Edge for industrial data collection, when testing the OPC-UA protocol adapter, I found that it stops adding subscriptions after the first 100. These are configured in config.xml. Is this the intended behavior? Is the preferred approach to add a new protocol adapter for every 100 nodes?

Hi PrairieSnpr,

Are you still experiencing this limitation with the latest HiveMQ Edge release? If ‘yes’, could you share your HiveMQ Edge `config.xml` (after removing all personal data)? Additionally, are there any errors or messages in the logs after adding more than 100 nodes?

This information will help us investigate the issue more thoroughly.
