# Free Serverless Permissions

I am using [https://console.hivemq.cloud/](https://console.hivemq.cloud/) to configure the permissions and access credentials.
I am a total Newbie. I have created 2 different Users in a cluster with “Subscribe Only” and “Publish Only” Permissions. This does not seem to have any effect, since I have full Access with both users. What am I missing/Not Understanding?
Is this due to Free Serverless option, if so then why even make this an selectable option when creating a user with Free Serverless ???

your observation is correct. Our engineers have a ticket to address the behaviour and will roll out the fix as soon as development and testing are complete. Thank you for reaching out to bring this to our attention.
